Asbestos Surveys
Have you assessed your premises yet?
Asbestos became increasingly popular among manufacturers and builders in the late 19th century due to its resistance to heat, electricity and chemical damage, its sound absorption and tensile strength.
The inhalation of asbestos fibres can cause serious illnesses, including mesothelioma and asbestosis. Since the mid-1980s, many uses of asbestos have been banned in many countries.
Our qualified and PI-insured asbestos surveyors carry out Type 1, 2 or 3 surveys in strict accordance with MDHS100.
Projects range from very small to very large jobs, such as a 95 acre factory site in Northampton which was surveyed in July 2008. We also test the asbestos in our own UKAS accredited laboratory in Washington.
